How a fleece becomes something you'll love

Every spring we shear the herd and grade each fleece by hand. Finer grades go next to your skin; stronger grades become rugs and home goods. Nothing is wasted.

Shear & sort

Once a year each alpaca is shorn and its fleece graded by micron — the softest set aside for garments.

Spin & craft

Fleece is washed and spun at our own mill, then worked into socks, hats, felted goods and woven pieces.

Wear & live with

You take home something warm, light and durable — grown a few fields from where you're standing.
